Founded in 2022 by Ana Mejia—a certified chef, ServSafe Instructor and Proctor, and FDA-trained compliance professional—Catharsis was born from lived experience. Ana understands the unique challenges food entrepreneurs face because she's been there. As the founder of Mena's Boys, her own FDA-recognized culinary business, Ana experienced firsthand the overwhelming administrative burden that pulls talented chefs and food business owners away from their passion.

What began as administrative support for nonprofits, culinary consultants, and professional firms quickly evolved into something more focused.
